Pearl Buck Center supports families with a wide range of programs that nurture young children, empower caregivers, and build strong foundations at home. From playgroups and toddler classes to wraparound and parent-navigator services, we provide compassionate, personalized guidance for families at every stage.

Family Support Services

Little Jellies Parent Support and Play Group

Open to the greater Eugene/Springfield Community, Little Jellies offers a safe space for parents and caregivers of children birth through two years to gather weekly. Caregivers are able to make connections and build a support system while their infants and toddlers play and explore in a developmentally appropriate, nurturing space. Refreshments for both children and adults are provided!

Who qualifies? Open to all!

Time: Monday 10 AM -12 PM 

Toddler Class

Supporting Toddlers Through Strength-Based Learning
Our programs focus on each toddler's 2 to 3 years olds unique abilities and interests, using a strength-based approach that builds confidence, curiosity, and independence. Whether during class time or through home visiting, we empower families to nurture their child's growth in a supportive and engaging environment.

Class Time & Home Visiting

Through personalized guidance, play-based activities, and positive reinforcement, we help toddlers thrive while strengthening parent-child connections.

Wraparound Services

Wraparound Services are offered to members of the greater Eugene/Springfield community with a qualifying cognitive limitation. Wraparound Services are a strength based, trauma-informed home visiting program where staff work closely with families to identify goals and support the needs of the family.

Parent Navigator Services

Parent Navigator Services are offered to caregivers in Lane County who have an open DHS-Child Welfare case. The goal is to assist caregivers with addressing their mandated goals and facilitate case coordination with their caseworker. Using a strength-based and trauma-informed approach, Parent Navigators provide caregivers with intensive weekly home visiting services designed to help them feel supported as they navigate an often complex and confusing system.

    Families meet weekly with their Parent Navigator, at a time that meets their needs

Parent Education 

Parenting classes are offered periodically and are open to all members of the greater Eugene-Springfield community. Curriculum used includes Circle of Security; Make Parenting a Pleasure; and Nurturing Parenting. Sessions are typically weekly for 10-12 weeks for two hours.
