Throughout our history, Pearl Buck Center has enhanced the lives of people with various disabilities through vocational, recreational and educational programs. Both for children and adults, our programs are designed to foster each individual’s maximum potential.

Pearl Buck Preschool and Family Supports

Pearl Buck Preschool and Family Supports is a wrap-around, tuition-free program for families led by parents with cognitive challenges.

Life Enhancing Activities Program (LEAP)

LEAP increases opportunities for adults with developmental disabilities to be active participants of our community through creative expression.

Supported Living

This program assists individuals with intellectual disabilities to live as independently as possible in their homes while remaining safe.

Community Employment

The Community Employment program assists working-age adults with disabilities to find and retain quality jobs in the Eugene-Springfield community.

Project SEARCH

Project SEARCH is a nationally acclaimed nine-month internship program that provides job training for people with disabilities in preparation for community employment.

Vocational Academy

The Vocational Academy provides a unique combination of classroom learning and hands-on work experience for adults with various abilities in preparation for community employment.
